Setting Dial-Up Internet Telkomsel, Matrix, Mentari, IM3, XL, AXIS use / in Computers
After blogwalking for several hours (exactly 6 hours). I always check BoTD (Blog of The Day) Post Sports section because I had ranked 14th (Asik. Achievement cool) with the article Setting GPRS AXIS, IM3, XL, Telkomsel, Mentari Nokia 5300. At 2:35 PM, I saw an article entitled Setting Dial Up Internet using GSM and CDMA operators. Because at the time the article is less complete, I created this article for more help charless. Read this article first, if you've understood a new practice. Immediately, (This is specific to Windows OS. It was tested on Microsoft Windows XP):
Install Modem Mobile
- Define your HP will use.
- Installing the device drivers your mobile phone. Do it this way, if your Operating System can not recognize your mobile phone.
- After the driver installation. Click Start> Control Pa nel> Phone and Modem Options (Control Menu, Display as a menu). It's for display as a link, click Start> Control Panel> Printers and Other Hardware> Phone and Modem Options
- After the open window "Phone and Modem Options", select the Modems tab and click Add ...
- In the window "Add Hardware Wizard", check (checklist) - a choice of "Do not detect my modem; I will select it from a list"> Next
- At the "Install New Modem", select (Standard Modem Types) in the Manufacturer and select the Standard 56,000 bps Modem in the Models> Next
- Then select Ports that will be installed. Let more easily select only All ports> Next. Note: If you know the USB port (COM-x) which are stuck with your mobile phone. Select the port is just. Making the menyetting easier. And do not forget to always put the USB cable into the port when the internet connection will do.
- Finish
Modem settings on your mobile phone
- In the Tab "Modems", select the Standard 56,000 bps Modem Modem> Properties
- Select the tab "Advanced", fill in the format Extra initialization commands: AT + CGDCONT = 1, "IP", "[APN]". APN is meant is Access Point Name for its GSM cards. (Actually it is not always the same as the APN with the Extra initialization. For example Telkomsel GPRS) Next Access Point Name list GSM Card:

So, to enter the data in the Extra initialization this way:
For example, mo im3 pairs that means extra initializationnya: AT + CGDCONT = 1, "IP", "www.indosat-m3.net"
Unlike the case when using GPRS Telkomsel, extra initialization: AT + CGDCONT = 1, "IP", "internet"
- (3) Do this on each COM. Not recommended. Do this if you try to connect but failed. It is advisable to not do this on COM1 settings.
- (4) When it is finished. Click OK to finish.
Create a Dial-up Connection
- Start> Control Panel> right click on Network Connection> Open> select the "Create a new connection"> Next> select "Connect to the network at my workplace" (Display as a menu) OR Start> Control Panel> Network and Internet Conn ections> Select "Create a connection to the network at your workplace" (Display as a link).
- Select Dial-up Connection> Select the Modem - Standard 5600 bps Modem # x (COMx)> Next
- Enter your Company Name. I suggest to fill it with a name card you use. Next
- Enter Phone Number with * 99 *** 1 # as for all GSM operators using this phone number.
- Finish
Finally, with the Internet Connection!
- Start> Control Panel> right click on Network Connection> Open (Display as a menu) or Start> Control Panel> Network and Internet Connections> Network Connection (Display as a link).
- Dial-up Dibagian select a new setting you created (Company Name you choose) with a double click or enter.
- And following UserName and Password for each of the GSM provider

- (4) and DIAL ...
NOTE: To change the setting (Display as menu / link) control panel in the Task bar the way. Right click on taskbar> properties> tab "Start Menu"> Customize> Tab "Advanced"> Select the Display as a link / menu in the Control Pa nel> Ok> Ok.

read this before I've tried pake E160 broadband modem (Huawei), continue to pake Sympathy cards. I've his APN settings telkomsel, usserid: wap and the password: wap123, full GPRS signal conditions, but each query is always an error. until now never managed to connect blm. And I pake IM2 and IM3 can koq. There can love enlightenment reply ... ....?
