Setting the Dial-Up Internet Telkomsel, Matrix, Mentari, IM3, XL, AXIS use / in Computers
After blogwalking for several hours (exactly 6 hours). I always check to BoTD (Blog Of The Day) Post Top part because I had ranked 14th (Asik. Achievements are cool) with articles AXIS GPRS, IM3, XL, Telkomsel, Mentari Nokia 5300 . At 2:35 PM, I saw an article entitled Setting Dial Up Internet using GSM and CDMA operators . Because at that time an article is less complete, I created this article so that more help Charles . Read this article first, if it is understood a new practice. Direct only (mode is specified for the Windows OS. It was tested on Microsoft Windows XP):
Install Mobile Modem
- Define your HP will wear.
- Installing the device drivers your handphone. Do it this way, if your operating system can not recognize your handphone.
- After installing the drivers. Click Start> Control Pa Channel> Phone and Modem Options (Control Menu, Display as a menu). This is for the Display as a Link, Go to Start> Control Panel> Printers and Other Hardware> Phone and Modem Options
- After the open window "Phone and Modem Options", select the Modems tab and click Add ...
- In the window "Add Hardware Wizard", check (tick) - a choice of "Do not detect my modem; I Will select it from a list"> Next
- At the "Install New Modem", select (Standard Modem Types) in the Manufacturer and select Standard 56 000 bps Modem in the Models> Next
- Then select Ports that will be installed. Let's easier just select the All Ports> Next. Note: If you know the USB port (COM-x) which is being stuck with your handphone. Select the port only. Making it easier in the set its. And do not forget to always put the USB cable into the port when going to make an internet connection.
- Finish
Modem settings on your mobile phone
- In the Tab "Modems", select 56 000 bps Modem Standard Modem> Properties
- Select the Tab "Advanced", fill in the format of the Extra initialization commands: at + cgdcont = 1, "IP", "[APN]." APN which is referred to the Access Point Name for its GSM card. (Actually it is not always the same APN with that in the Extra initialization. For example Telkomsel GPRS) Here's a list of the Access Point Name Card GSM:

So, to enter data in the Extra initialization do something like this:
For example, the tidal mo im3 means extra initializationnya: at + cgdcont = 1, "IP", "www.indosat-m3.net"
Bede as if using GPRS Telkomsel, extra initialization: at + cgdcont = 1, "IP", "internet"
- (3) Do this on each COM. Not recommended. Do this if you try to connect but failed. It is advisable not to do this setting on COM1.
- (4) When you're finished. Click OK to finish.
Create a Dial-up Connection
- Start> Control Panel> Network Connections right-click> Open> select the "Create a new connection"> Next> select "Connect to the network at my workplace" (Display as a menu) OR Start> Control Panel> Network and Internet Conn ections> Choose "Create a connection to the network at your workplace" (Display as a link).
- Select Dial-up Connection> Select the Modem - Standard 5600 bps Modem # x (COMx)> Next
- Enter your Company Name. I suggest to fill it with a name card that you use. Next
- Enter your phone number with * 99 *** 1 # as for all GSM operators using this phone number.
- Finish
Finally, with the Internet Connection!
- Start> Control Panel> Network Connections right-click> Open (Display as a menu) or Start> Control Panel> Network and Internet Connections> Network Connection (Display as a link).
- On the Dial-up select your newly created Settingan (Company Name you choose) with a double click or enter.
- And the following username and password for each provider GSM

- (4) And DIAL ...
NOTE: To change the setting (Display as menu / links) in the Task Bar control panel do. Right click on taskbar> properties> tab "Start Menu"> Customize> Tab "Advanced"> Select the Display as a link / menu in the Control Pa Channel> Ok> Ok.

I am questioning here ... Why after install is always happening tpe differences existing modem connection with an existing network in manager.sehingga modem devices are not in the know and in the device manager is always given a question mark at modemnya.Bagaimana way displace the existing modem types in the network so that the same connection as the one on the device maneger.Terima you for your help ...
